| AC Refrigeration Mechanic | Candidates must have passed the National Apprenticeship Certificate/ITI Examination in the trade of “Refrigeration and Air Conditioning/Mechanic Refrigeration & Air Conditioning/Mechanic (Central Air Conditioning Plant, Industrial cooling and Package Air conditioning)/Mechanic (Cold storage, Ice plant and Ice candy plant).” |
| Chipper Grinder | Candidates must have completed the National Apprenticeship Certificate/ITI in any trade and have worked in the MDL/Ship-building industry as a Chipper Grinder for a minimum period of one year. One-year shipbuilding experience is mandatory. |
| Compressor Attendant | Candidates must have completed the National Apprenticeship/ITI Certificate in Millwright Mechanic or Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance and have worked in the MDL/Ship-building industry as a Compressor Attendant for at least one year. One year of shipbuilding experience is mandatory. |
| Diesel Cum Motor Mechanic | Candidates must have passed the National Apprenticeship Certificate/ITI Examination in the “Diesel Mechanic (Diesel)/ Mechanic (Marine Diesel) or Motor Vehicle Mechanic” trade. |
| Driver | Candidates should have passed the SSC with a National Apprenticeship Certificate/ITI in the “Driver cum Fitter” trade, or they should have passed an equivalent examination conducted by a government-recognized board. |
