How to fill application for UPSC Engineer vacancyStep 1- Apply online only through the website www.upsconline.nic.in. Step 2- Candidate need to OTR For fresh candidate, if OTR Done do this. Step 3- Modification in OTR Profile. Step 4- The candidate should have details of one Photo ID Card such as Aadhaar Card, Voter Card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving Licence, or any other Photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government. The candidate will need to provide the details of this Photo ID Card while filling out the online application form. It’s recommended to carry this Photo ID Card during the Examination or Personality Test. Step 5- Review your application form. Step 6- Make a payment and submit for final. |

Plan Of Examination/Exam Pattern
Stage-I: Engineering Services (Preliminary/Stage-I) Examination (Objective Type Papers)
Stage-II: Engineering Services(Main/Stage-II) Examination consists of Conventional Type Papers
Stage-III is the Personality Test.
Stage I Detail- The Engineering Services (Preliminary/Stage-I) Examination will have two multiple-choice question papers, totaling 500 marks (Paper 1 – 200 Marks & Paper II – 300 Marks). Only those who qualify in the Preliminary/Stage-I Exam will be eligible for the Main/Stage-II Exam. The marks from Preliminary/Stage-I will determine the final merit order. The Main/Stage-II Exam will admit about six to seven times the total vacancies for the year and If a candidate gives a wrong answer in the multiple-choice question papers, they’ll lose one-third of the marks assigned to that question as a penalty.

Stage II Detail- The Engineering Services (Main/stage-II) Examination will have two written papers in Engineering. Each paper will be specific to the discipline and will last for three hours, with a maximum of 600 marks (300 marks for each paper).
